Everything starts around 1981, clothes hangers for cymbals, laundry drums for toms, and coloured pencils for chopsticks! Following the discovery of The Police with the titles "Message in a Bottle" and "Walking on the Moon" which was played on the radio. This motivates him to start a band with his cousin later.

One day he discovers an album cover with a design out of the ordinary at this time; Iron Maiden "Killers", which he discovers when he was 11, and today he still remains a big fan. He then acquired his first drums at the age of 14, and formed groups with his cousin on guitar and vocals from 1986 to 1990.

EPSILON, his first real band released 2 demos, a first one in 1988, and a second one in 1989, two tracks, "first experience in studio, that I will never forget", radio passages and concerts.

In Strasbourg, very good start and good reviews, then the "split" in 1990. Too young, average age 18. Then some concerts with bands from the region, and in 1993, PETER KURTEN SHOW, a 4 tracks demo recorded in studio.

Two concerts will follow, music festival and forum of the FNAC always in Strasbourg, 1st part of DARAN ET LES CHAISES, followed by a concert at the Krutenau in Strasbourg.

Then again a split of the band, "I've decided to stop the drums, sickened!" After several years of wanting to join a band again, it was very hard, but he joins a "country music" band for 4 months, just to gently resume, then he renews with "his great love", rock with SPIRIT OF COVER, (2015), then Hard Rock with BLACK MONKEYS (2015/2017), and finally he joins DAZZLING BRAVERY in December 2017.
